Give back to the community in this annual NU Club philanthropic event! Please join the NU Club of LA for one of our most enjoyable and rewarding events. Each year for the past five years, our members have teamed with the Big Ten Club to volunteer for a day at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
FREE! Just your time, energy and positive attitude required.

What to expect: The Food Bank runs a well-organized program, in which volunteers from our group and others are split into various teams to sort and process food donations. You’ll also find plenty of opportunities to chat with other alums and to show some Purple Pride in our community!
What happens after: You’re invited to join other NU Club and Big Ten Club members at a no-host luncheon at a nearby Mexican restaurant.
Please note these safety requirements: No open toed or high-heeled shoes. Minimum age for volunteers is 14 years old, and volunteers under 18 are required to bring proof of age with picture (school ID, California ID, passport or birth certificate). Volunteers will need to sign a release form. Limited parking is available on site and there is free street parking as well. Bring your canned goods to donate.
